Product information

Clothing information should be clear.

We aim to present product descriptions, photographs, sizes, colours, materials and other relevant information as accurately as reasonably possible.

Product photographs are provided for illustration and may vary slightly from the actual item because of screen settings, lighting or manufacturing variations.

Customers should review the product description, available size information and other displayed information before placing an order.

Nothing in a product description affects the customer’s statutory rights if goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal requirements.

04

The price shown is the price that applies.

Product prices are displayed on the website in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated.

Applicable taxes will be displayed where required.

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices and product information displayed on the website are accurate.

If a genuine pricing or information error occurs before an order is accepted, we may contact the customer to explain the issue and provide the available options.

Order acceptance

When does the order become accepted?

After an order is submitted, we will normally send an order confirmation by email.

An order may be reviewed before it is accepted for fulfilment. Where an order cannot reasonably be fulfilled, we will contact the customer and explain the position.

Where an order is not accepted and an amount has already been received, the applicable amount will be returned in accordance with the relevant circumstances.

Customers should keep their order confirmation and related communications for their records.

Schoolwear for everyday routines.

Our website is designed to keep product selection, ordering and delivery information straightforward.

08
Changes before order

Need to change something?

If a customer notices an error in an order after submitting it, they should contact us as soon as possible.

We will try to assist where an order has not yet been dispatched. Once an order has entered the dispatch or delivery process, changes may no longer be possible.

This does not affect any statutory cancellation or return rights that apply to the order.

09
Cancellation rights

Your online cancellation rights.

For eligible online purchases, consumers generally have 14 days from the day after receiving the goods to notify us that they wish to cancel.

After notifying us, the goods should normally be returned within a further 14 days.

Some goods may fall within a statutory exception to the cancellation right. Where such an exception applies to a particular product, the relevant information will be provided before the order is placed.

Nothing here limits statutory rights.

Customers retain the rights available to them under applicable consumer law.

10
Returns & refunds

Returns follow our Refund Policy.

Our separate Refund Policy explains the return process, applicable cancellation periods, refund timing and refund method in more detail.

For an eligible cancelled order, a refund is normally issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Refunds are normally returned using the same method originally used for the order.

11
Product quality

Goods must meet the applicable legal standard.

Goods supplied to consumers must meet applicable statutory requirements, including being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose where those requirements apply.

If an item is faulty, incorrectly described, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not meet the applicable legal requirements, the customer may have rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.

Nothing in these terms removes or restricts those rights.

12
Customer information

Please provide accurate order information.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when placing an order, including name, delivery address, postcode, email address and telephone number where requested.

If inaccurate information prevents or delays delivery, we will take reasonable steps to assist once we are contacted.

Customers should also check the product size, colour, quantity and other selectable options before completing an order.

13
Website use

Using the website responsibly.

Customers may use the website for genuine browsing, product selection and ordering purposes.

Customers must not knowingly interfere with the operation of the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to restricted areas, introduce harmful code or use the website in a way that breaches applicable law.

We may temporarily change, suspend or maintain parts of the website where reasonably necessary for technical, operational or security reasons.

14

Unless otherwise stated, content displayed on the website, including text, graphics, photographs, logos, page layouts and other materials, is owned by or used by SCHOOLWEAR 1 LTD with appropriate rights.

Website content must not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed or commercially reused without appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.

15
Responsibility

A fair approach to responsibility.

We take reasonable care in operating the website, processing orders and providing the products described on the website.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

In particular, these terms do not remove or reduce statutory consumer rights relating to goods, nor do they exclude responsibility that the law does not allow a business to exclude.

We are not responsible for matters outside our reasonable control to the extent permitted by applicable law, while still respecting any legal rights that apply to the customer.

16
Questions & complaints

We want issues resolved clearly.

If you have a question about an order, product, delivery, cancellation or refund, please contact us first so that we can review the matter.

Please include your order number where available and explain the issue clearly.

17
Privacy & cookies

Your information is covered separately.

Information about how personal data is collected, used, stored and handled is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Information about cookies and similar technologies used on the website is explained in our Cookie Policy.

18
Changes to these terms

Keeping the terms current.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time where reasonably necessary, including to reflect changes to the website, products, business arrangements or applicable legal requirements.

The version applicable to an order will be the terms made available to the customer before that order is placed, subject to any later change required by law.

19
Law & jurisdiction

Applicable law.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to the customer.

Where a customer has mandatory rights to bring proceedings in another court or jurisdiction, nothing in these terms is intended to remove those rights.
